Larian's cloud sync sucks balls (slow and disables further saves/loads until it finishes) and GOG has syncing disabled for some reason, so I just disabled BG3's cloud save and setup Dropbox (pick your favorite sync tool) to sync the files. 3: Open the game on pc choosing the play on PC option and this seems to do it. I'm still logged into my Larian account in the launcher, and I still have Steam Cloud Saves enabled. For a bit of background, I installed my GOG copy of BG3 without using Heroic or a 3rd party program, just downloaded the GOG client .
